What is ID Card Scanner?
Use this online ID card scanner to turn camera captures or uploaded photos into a clean front-and-back scan without sending sensitive documents to a server. Place four corners around each card side, correct perspective, preview the combined result vertically or side by side, and export a lossless PNG or A4 PDF. Processing stays in browser memory, and exports contain newly rendered pixels rather than the original photo metadata.
How to use ID Card Scanner
Add the front and back
Upload a photo or use your phone's rear camera to capture each side of the ID card. PNG, JPEG, WebP, and other image formats supported by your browser work without an upload to NoApp.
Place the corners
Drag the four numbered handles to the card corners. The editor validates that the selected area is large, convex, inside the image, and free of crossed edges.
Correct the perspective
The scanner uses a real projective transform with inverse pixel mapping and bilinear interpolation to create a rectangular result.
Preview the combined scan
Arrange the corrected front and back vertically or side by side and inspect the live combined preview before downloading. You can also export only one side when that is all you need.
Export privately
Download the combined ID card scan as a lossless PNG or place it on a centered A4 PDF. Pin the tool for quicker access next time. Files, decoded images, and temporary canvases remain on this device and are released when replaced or cleared.
